Volunteering
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Just Enough Faith need volunteers?
YES. Without the tireless efforts and dedication of volunteers, it would
be just about impossible for JEF to carry out the work that it does.
Volunteers are always in short supply however and there is always plenty
to do.
What does volunteering involve?
Volunteers can help out at the JEF van as well as at the Rozelle centre.
Tasks performed by volunteers include:
- Helping to serve food to the homeless at the van
- Assisting in food preparation at the commercial kitchen in Rozelle
- Being available during the day for couriering and various errands
(current driver's licence required, own vehicle would be a bonus).
- Driving the JEF van in the evening
- Teaching and tutoring at the education centre in Rozelle (topics include
office skills, basic computing, hospitality and other job skills)
- Gardening
- Office administration
- Computer maintenance
- JEF website maintenance
What do I need to do in order to become a JEF volunteer?
If you would like to be a JEF volunteer or are simply interested, please

also hold Information sessions for prospective volunteers throughout the
year. If you would like to attend one, please contact Alina.
When is the next Information Session?
Given the response we've been receiving from people to become volunteers we try to hold information sessions once a month for all interested. For the next information session please, contact us via phone or email.
